Pulsation Yoga 101: A great way to start yoga or for those who wish to go deeper and get more detailed in their practice. For those who wish to delve deeper into yoga, or beginners who want to learn from the ground up. Learn excellent alignment principles of most of the basic poses so you will be more confident in a regular ongoing class. Pre-registration required for this class, please call the studio to register. See schedule for current session.
Pulsation Yoga Basics Class: In Basic classes, you'll learn to perform fundamental poses with steadiness and confidence. We will be following a planned-out syllabus of poses that will help advance the beginner student, so you may eventually shift into an "mixed-level" class down the road. The class will help the student progress in a logical and safe way using alignment principles and great attention to detail. Taking the Yoga 101 first is recommended, not required.
Mixed Levels Class: New and Experienced Yoga Students can enjoy this class. We recommend you should have good working knowledge of the basic yoga poses, or have attended either our Yoga 101 series or Basic Classes.
Intermediate Classes: For the student who has had at least 3 months of yoga practice and a good working knowledge of the basic postures and ready to deepen their practice. Not recommended if you are brand new to yoga.
Intermediate/Advanced (formerly level 1-2) Classes: For the student who has had at least 8 months of yoga practice and a strong working knowledge of the basic yoga postures. Deepen your practice, establish strength and flexibility. Not suited or recommended for the beginning student.
Hot and Warm Classes: Mixed Levels. Hot Classes are taught in a room heated with humidity (around 95-100 degrees) and the Warm Classes are taught in a room heated (without humidity) to around 85-88 degrees. Brand new students would be best served attending our Basics class prior to taking a hot class. Please see the schedule for breakdown of the hot and warm classes. Please drink plenty of water before, during and after class to stay hydrated. It is recommended you bring your own mat and own towel.
Hip & Shoulder Opener Class: For Mixed Levels. Focusing on the two areas of the body that need more opening for a deeper yoga practice, this class starts out with deep standing poses targeted to open the hip joints and pelvis area, then moves to some arm balances, finishing with seated hip and hamstring openers. A good class to go deeper into the hip and hamstrings.
Restorative/Therapeutic Class for Mixed levels: Good for the beginner and advanced practitioner to go deeper and restore or find a therapeutic solution or modification to help bring ease to the body. For grounding and de-stressing. Great for after work, and to restore after air travel, bring the body back to balance. Use of props and techniques to open the body up in a non-rigorous yet deep restorative way.
Weekend Wind-Down Class. 1.25 hour class blending 55 minutes of yoga (standing sequences included) and then a 20 minute finish of restorative poses. A great way to end the weekend.

Wisdom Warriors™ is a new class designed especially for dedicated practitioners over 50 who know what it means to remain youthful through the practice of yoga and other healthy lifestyle activities. Now don’t get fooled when you hear ‘over 50′, as this class is for experienced practitioners who are adept at yoga.

Wisdom Warriors is the perfect elixir of youth for anyone who wants to preserve their high level of health, flexibility and strength throughout their lifetime. It is intended to help people keep their practice strong and vital.

We slow it down to fit our needs while continuing to put forth the effort to understand the changes in our bodies as we go. Rather than saying “I am too old for this”, we ask “what needs to get stronger, longer or softer so this pose feels right for me”?
A full range of poses are always available including standing poses, backbends, hip openers, forward bends, inversions and arm balances. It is not suitable for beginners. Class is physically and spiritually inspiring, has a strong therapeutic focus, and aims to foster community among our 50+ yogis.

If you have been practicing yoga for a while and long to connect with others who will help you stay healthy and fit, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to strengthen your body, mind and friendships. We believe that old dogs can learn new tricks, however with the wisdom that age inspires, our practice becomes intelligent and wise.

Designed around the family interested in learning yoga postures together and adding in elements of play. Since this class is for a variety of ages (7 through adult), you can expect a balanced environment; a practice to explore for young yogis and an opportunity to reconnect for adult yogis. In the sessions to come we will practice individual and partner poses with the goal of building knowledge of the asana practice and family bonding. The classes will be structured to begin by centering and connecting with the breath, move through warming up the body, practicing standing poses, adding an element of play with a challenge pose and finally winding down with a brief Savasana. All classes include standing and sitting poses, playful arm balances and relaxation... and possibly more. Each class is limited to 25 people to ensure that our students benefit from the class and creation of community. Please bring your yoga mat and pre-register for the next class.

Therapeutic Lessions: For students who have had injuries or ailments. Using the Universal Principles of Alignment™, we will suggest a unique set of postural instructions to bring you back into alignment. The initial appointment will be a 15-30 minute interview, followed by a 45 minute session. You will then receive instruction for poses "homework" to do at home. It is highly recommended you follow up with a course of sessions until you are feeling more at ease with the injury or ailment. We will recommend the proper yoga class for you when it is appropriate.
